How to start a new army in Warhammer 40K

First and foremost, you need to pick an army.

Any army would be great. Every army has their own strengths, skills, abilities, technology, machineries, and of course, weaknesses. Think that every army represents a personality, for example, Chaos is anger, Space Marine is justice, and so much more. Pick the one that suits you the most, and make sure that you are fully prepared to raise it.

Second, after choosing an army, you need to know that value points.

Value points is one of the most important features in a Warhammer game. Each character, weapons, machinery has their own points. Research them carefully and find out how much they worth. By that way, you can have a proper game of Warhammer that follows your planning.

Third and finally, invest your time into raising the army of your choice.

It wouldn't make an army an army if you don't invest on raising it, right? Put your time into building the characters, weapons, machineries, and so much more. Effort makes good results, and you will be proud of your achievement.
